He was with whatever is left of the squad in Sydney earlier this month, sharing in a getting drill when he hammered into get ready equipment. The cut was awful to the point that he "could see a few bones" and required around 30 attaches.

"The knee is fine, which is the best positive," he told the Cricket Australia site. "I didn't by and large think I did anything horrendous. It wasn't until the doc started talking about what could have happened and what might be an issue [that I started to worry] and I needed a x-bar.

"When they were cleaning up the damage the therapeutic overseer truly said 'There's your patella tendon, there's no scratches in it'. The way that he could see my patella tendon was a touch of an issue."

Autonomous of the harm, Starc had been revived from the ODI voyage through South Africa. He was unfathomable in the singing warmth and on defenseless contributes Sri Lanka - 24 wickets at 15.16 each and a strike-rate of 25.8 - and the gathering organization had expected to keep him new before the home season began in November with Test matches against South Africa and Pakistan.

In any case, two weeks back, in the midst of an ordinary practice session at Hurstville Oval, things took a repulsive turn.

"We were doing a taking care of test as a noteworthy part of our Australian camp before the young fellows left for the South African visit," Starc said. "We were doing high making history out of a ball machine. It was a huge windy day so I've sought after this ball to endeavor and catch it and it was making tracks in an inverse heading from me and [I] slid to catch it.

"The accompanying part of the drill - which was proposed to happen later down the track - was hurling down stumps, [which were] set up behind us. I sadly slid into the metal plate at the base of the stumps.

"I got the catch so I'm happy about that, yet in the process expelled some gigantic pieces from my leg. I looked down and there was a noteworthy opening in the pants, [I] saw a fold of skin and hurled my hand on it to endeavor and quit anything that was going on. I couldn't see much. By then the misery started to get significantly more grounded and kept hitting me and I thought something might be to some degree all the more horrendous. The authorities came over and I couldn't watch starting there.

"I didn't precisely know the degree until I was in the back of the crisis vehicle when the pro was elucidating how horrendous it was. You [could] see a few bones. I might not want to look at it by any methods. They desensitized it after a short time so I couldn't feel too much."

Starc was managed at St George's Hospital for four days yet has since returned home and was reserved to begin working at the activity focus on Wednesday. While he was bright to "finally get by and by into some work," there was the odd trouble. "It's an unpredictable feeling being in a knee prop not having the ability to curve my leg understanding that my knee is OK," Starc said. "It's evenhanded to keep the folds of skin on there to repair honestly.

Come October 25, in any case, Starc would have gotten a kick out of the chance to move his disturbs onto the confinement batsmen for that is the time when his state side New South Wales play their first match of the Sheffield Shield season - under lights - against Queensland.

"I have to play that one, and being a pink ball game at the Gabba it will be new for the NSW bunch and for me moreover. That is still my goal, to be perfect for that Shield delight and plainly we should consider a couple of workloads when I'm back playing first and foremost.

According to message being circulated on WhatsApp about the story of Bahubali 2, the infamous mystery of why Kattappa killed Bahubali is answered. Bahubali had left the viewers hanging with their open climax and ardent fans were desperate to find the answer. Since the sequel would take time to release, they couldn’t contain their excitement for the film. A number of speculative stories suggesting the possible reasons why Kattappa could have killed Bahubali started making rounds of the news arena. Although, none of the answers looked convincing, these stories satiated the growing urge in fans.
The leaked story of Bahubali 2 says that Kattappa (played by Sathyaraj) is loyal army chief of Mahishmati kingdom. Kattappa’s ancestors have sworn to obey the orders of the Mahishpati king. Not just Kattappa, but everyone born in this kingdom be it his ancestors or the generations that would follow are meant to serve the Mahishmati royals.
Once Bahubali becomes the emperor of the kingdom, he falls in love with certain Devasena (played by Anushka Shetty). The twist in the tale is that Bhallala Deva (played by Rana Daggubati) is also in love with Devasena. According to the instructions of Rajmata Shivagami (played by Ramya Krishnan), whoever marries Devasena will have to leave the empire and will be exiled. Bahubali agrees to this condition and decides to marry Devasena and leave Mahishmati kingdom.
Once Bahubali departs the kingdom, it comes under the attack of son of Kalakeya King, which forces Bahubali to return Mahishmati and save his kingdom. This drastic change of scenario sparks fear in Bhallala Deva, who thinks Rajmata will give reins back to Bahubali. Then, Bhallala Deva orders Kattappa to kill Bahubali. Kattappa, who is under the oath of obeying the king’s order does what is told. (ALSO READ: Bahubali: Shah Rukh Khan is inspired by Prabhas’ latest blockbuster!)
Well, this story line looks quite viable but it has to be seen if the makers actually present it when Bahubali: The Conclusion hits theatres in early 2016. In the modern period of Indian cinema, there have only been handful of movies that have got the audiences hooked up to it much after they have left the theatres. In the age where the success of movies is measured through the crore clubs it enters as opposed to longevity, as was it the times  gone by, Bahubali has managed to strike the right chords of its audiences and weaved magic with its story and visual effects.

Derrick Jacobs: 'This is not a black/white thing. This is a blue/black thing.'

Derrick Jacobs, a barber at the Mar'Cutz barber shop, says he'd rather speak out on social media than join the protests at night because "I don't think it's safe."
Jacobs, a 43-year-old barber, has lived in Charlotte his entire life.
He said the fact that the officer who shot Scott and the police chief are both black doesn't negate the racial profiling faced by African-Americans in Charlotte -- or the whole country.
"This is not a black/white thing. This is a blue/black thing," Jacobs said. "We're afraid of the badge."
With the recent controversial shootings of black men by police, Jacobs says he has to lecture his four sons, ages 10 to 23, to not argue with police.
"We can figure out the particulars of who's right and who's wrong later," he tells his sons. "At the end of the day, we need you to come home alive."

ind vs new zealand

India 318 and 159 for 1 (Vijay 64*, Pujara 50*) lead New Zealand 262 (Williamson 75, Latham 58, Jadeja 5-73, Ashwin 4-93) by 215 runs
Scorecard and ball-by-ball details
A roughly even contest through its first six completed sessions, the Green Park Test swung emphatically India's way after lunch on day three, as Ravindra Jadeja and R Ashwin ran through New Zealand to earn India a 56-run first-innings lead. By stumps, they had swelled this to 215 thanks to unbeaten half-centuries from M Vijay and Cheteshwar Pujara, who put on their second century stand of the match.
India, well ahead at tea, pulled away rapidly thereafter. With Ish Sodhi and Mark Craig serving up a feast of short balls, Vijay and Pujara hit seven fours in the first three overs of the final session. Then, after four relatively quiet overs, Vijay played two of the shots of the match, off Mitchell Santner, an inside-out drive to the left of extra-cover and a late cut with bat meeting ball inches in front of off stump.
By the end of the day, India's run-rate had slowed to normal Test-match proportions, but the economy rates of Craig (4.36) and Sodhi (4.14) told a story. On a pitch where Ashwin and Jadeja were causing all kinds of problems, India's batsmen had shone an unforgiving light on the inadequacies of New Zealand's spinners.
New Zealand's only wicket came in the last over before tea, when KL Rahul late-cut Sodhi straight into slip's hands. As he had done in the first innings, Rahul had shown plenty of attacking enterprise - in this instance using sweeps, reverse-sweeps and lofted drives to move along at a 70-plus strike rate - before falling in the 30s.
Wickets often fall in clusters in India. One brings many. There were two such clusters in New Zealand's innings. First, they lost three wickets in 23 balls at the start of the morning session. After lunch, even more damagingly, they lost their last five in the space of 29 balls, for the addition of only seven runs. In the process, Jadeja picked up his fifth five-wicket haul in Tests, and Ashwin swelled his Test wicket count from 193 to 197.

Police also released a photo of a gun holster they say was Mr Scott's

  • The dashcam footage released on Saturday shows Mr Scott getting out of his car and walking backwards with his hands down. It is unclear if there is anything in his hands. Four shots are heard and he falls to the ground.
The bodycam footage shows Mr Scott outside his car with his hands down but does not show the moment of the shooting.
The BBC's Laura Bicker in Washington, who has seen the video, says it does not clear up the key question of whether Mr Scott had a gun, or if he pointed a gun at police.

True cost of UK leaving EU without trade deal revealed

The damage to Britain’s goods exporters of leaving the European Union without a new free trade deal in place would be at least £4.5bn a year – and in all likelihood many multiples of that – an investigation by The Independent has found.
David Davis, the Brexit Secretary, admited earlier this month that it was possible the UK could leave the EU without a deal and would be forced to trade with the rest of the continent under World Trade Organisation rules.
And the International Trade Secretary Liam Fox issued a press reales in August that suggested to exporters this could be the ultimate outcome of Brexit.
Some trade experts are concerned that even if the Government tries its best to negotiate a free trade agreement with the EU it could be impossible to complete within the two-year timetable for Britain to leave after Article 50 of the Lisbon Treaty is triggered.
World Trade Organisation rules mean that UK exporters would be hit with the EU’s common custom tariff – a wide range of taxes on imports.
These would serve to push up the price of UK exports, rendering them instantly less competitive in local markets and damaging British-based exporting firms.
Research by The Independent published today confirms that trading under WTO rules would have a serious impact on several important UK goods export industries, including car manufacturing, plastics production, machinery and clothing.
In 2015 official statistics show the UK exported £133bn worth of goods to the rest of the European Union, almost half of our global goods exports.
This included £10bn in food and drink, £16bn of fuel and around £10bn of motor vehicles.

NY authorities seize 33 kilos of heroin in record drug bust

Authorities in New York State announced on Friday “a major heroin and fentanyl takedown” involving a record seizure of drugs with a street value of more than $13 million.
State Attorney General Eric T. Schneiderman’s office said the seizure of 33 kilograms of heroin and 2 kilograms of fentanyl is the largest in the nearly five-decade history of the state’s Organized Crime Task Force.
The investigation, known as “Operation Dirty Dope,” began after a complaint from State Police about a spike in the heroin trade in Brentwood and led to the disruption of a national smuggling ring, according to Schneiderman’s office.
Some of the drugs were distributed in Suffolk County, said Doug Cohen, a spokesman for the attorney general.Among the 25 people indicted in the case are residents of New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania and Massachusetts, officials said.
